If you still don’t think that many gun owners, gun lovers, gun enthusiasts consider their gun the most important possession, consider this mother’s attention to a gun she is interested in buying and her child left sitting on the store counter.
And please don’t respond with: “She’s an anomaly, you can’t make such broad generalizations about gun owners.” Really? Tell that to the hundreds of Republican legislators Washington and in every state capital who are terrified of the NRA and legislating responsible laws for gun ownership. Tell that to the hundreds of thousands of Americans who have lost family and friends to gun violence in recent years.
