First time visiting your blog, Mitch. I love this post. IMHO, the biggest problem we have in this country’s political system today are the selfish tea party politicians and their GOP enablers who are so far removed from the way average Americans live that they can inflict untold damage onto millions and never blink an eye. Many of those who helped to elect these cretins are now supposedly “appalled” at what they have done. I’m not. I watched them as they ran for Congress, and I knew they were divisive, posturing little individuals whose only goal in seeking a seat in Congress was to push their own agenda and promote their political careers at public expense. Public service is the last thing on their minds. Bookmarked your site.
