When the Eternal Light of Life finally departed from my Mom’s exhausted and aching body 3 years ago, I’m sure I scared quite a few people in the hospice when I yelled aloud:
F*CK YOU HITLER, SHE GOT TO LIVE 80 MORE YEARS THAN YOU WANTED HER TO.
Only then did I first weep.
Last year in Israel, Koolulam brought together over 600 Holocaust Survivors to affirm their victory over genocide. Granted, they make the same point I did in that emotional moment in a much more beautiful and memorable way.
