Have you seen the additional videos of the confrontation at the Lincoln Memorial that have surfaced? They certainly add more context to the now infamous confrontation between the Covington High School students and the Native American Elder, Nathan Phillips.
Did the students shout racial epitaphs? Did they mock and attempt to intimidate Phillips and the other Native Americans who were there for an Indigenous People March? Did the Covington HS students shout Build the wall! repeatedly to intimidate and affirm white hegemony in America? Was cheery Nick Sandman really an innocent bystander who was trying to diffuse the situation as he claims? The students say no to all charges, video accounts and eyewitnesses say otherwise.
BUT, we can be sure from looking at the video below of the intentions of 3 people who ultimately must be held accountable for the angry, explosive atmosphere that brought about the confrontation between students and Native Americans.
Over a period of more than an hour, the three men who identified themselves as Black Hebrew Israelites shouted racist, homophobic, anti-Christian, anti-American verbiage at anyone and everyone in their sight.
WE HAVE SOMES QUESTIONS WE WOULD LIKE ANSWERED:
- HOW COME THEIR FACES AREN’T ALL OVER SOCIAL MEDIA TOO?
- HOW COME NO ONE IS RUSHING TO IDENTIFY THEM?
- HOW COME WE HAVEN’T HEARD ABOUT JOURNALISTS VISITING OTHER BLACK HEBREWS TO GET THEIR REACTION TO THOSE THREE MEN AND THE CONFRONTATION THEY PROVOKED?
Who are these three men? Who is holding them accountable?
