Rob Portman would have you believe that the hard times Ohio went through during the Great Recession were all the fault of then Governor, Ted Strickland.  Oh really?  

Remind us again who was the Republican Senator from Ohio at that time?

Oh yea, it was Rob Portman the guy who is telling you now that he knows how to make and keep jobs in Ohio. 

Hey fellow Buckeyes, are you OK being represented in the Senate by a person who has:

• Repeatedly voted against equal pay for women?

• Repeatedly voted against bills that deny science, climate change and hurt the environment?

• Repeatedly voted against a woman’s right to choose and the quality healthcare services (NOT RELATED TO ABORTIONS!) provided by Planned Parenthood?

• Has time and again joined Republicans in voting against increases in veteran benefits and care?

• Took orders from Mitch McConnell’s to sabotage nominees and legislation proposed by President Obama for 8 years?  Come on,  is that really just politics as usual or did some people think this particular President deserved to be stonewalled and denied the right to do his job?

Don’t we deserves a Senator who will work for the people of Ohio and not just the out of state billionaires who finance Republican candidate campaigns so they can continue to

NOT PAY THEIR FAIR SHARE IN TAXES?

Ohio deserves a U.S. Senator who will work with good people like Sherrod Brown and Hillary Clinton to increase the minimum wage; protect union workers, make college affordable for all, protect Social Security and do whatever is necessary to make the Affordable Care Act and healthcare accessible and responsive to the needs of all Americans.
