In recent weeks Dalia Fenig, Israel’s right-wing Minister of Education has ruled that a popular novel about an Israeli and a Palestinian falling in love is inappropriate and has removed the popular novel from a list of required reading for high school students.  In response a group of gay and straight Israelis offered to kiss one another in a video to show that in spite of the intolerance being officially promoted by the current Israeli government, love -as it always does, will win.
