What would you say to a school teacher who fails your child on every test -not because his/her answers were wrong, but because the teacher just doesn’t like him/her, and tells you so?  What would you say about a boss who tells you that you are doing a good job, but he/she has to fire you because you have shifty eyes and he just doesn’t trust you?

Such is the fate of the 44th President of the United States. And the proof that many people simply dislike Barack Hussein Obama for being who he is, is no secret to intellectually honest observers of American politics from either side of the proverbial aisle.

Whether it’s the countless, childish names he is called:  socialist, dictator, closet Muslim, foreigner posing as an American, unpatriotic, unfriendly to business, enemy of Israel, dictator, racist, baby-killer….etc. etc…. This President cannot and will never do anything right according to many Americans.

What’s to be said about the  people who passionately disagree with him when he endorses positions that they themselves had previously taken?  EG: healthcare, taxing the rich, regulating Wall Street and the banking industry, helping the Libyan rebels, actively pursuing  a peace settlement in the Middle East, not supporting Israel enough, supporting Israel too much, not being tough on national security, being too tough on national security, wanting immigration reform -but not letting the President do anything to achieve immigration reform, complaining that Obama is not tough on illegal immigrants when in 2.5 years his administration has deported more illegal aliens that President Bush did in 8 years.

Yes, Barak Obama will go down in history as the President who was damned if he did and damned if he didn’t.  And if you can’t always catch the double standards in the slick rhetoric of most Republicans and conservative critics of the President, consider this frightening, paranoid-delusional rant from Wayne LaPierre, the executive vice president of the National Rifle Association.  LaPierre acknowledges that President Obama’s record on guns in acceptable to gun owners, but he wants you to know that he’ll be damned if he’s gonna trust this guy, and if you know what’s good for you and your country, you won’t either!

Isn’t it wonderful how most Americans have matured beyond profiling people based on superficial considerations like skin color, intellect, religion, and heritage?  Now we now simply appreciate and respect one another for our deeds and good intentions?  Oy.
