1. To save one life is equal to saving the entire world.
  2. Every human being is created in the Divine image.
  3. A Jew is forbidden from committing 3 sins: murder, practicing idolatry, committing incest or adultery.
  4. One is permitted to break almost all other commandments to save a life. You may not ignore the blood of your neighbor.
  5. Welcome the stranger and treat him/her with respect. For you were once strangers in a strange land.
  6. If a Jew is not permitted to kill an animal for sport, how can a Jew accept “collateral damage” as justification for the slaughter of tens of thousands of civilians?
